Without the right to life, all other rights are meaningless.
Right now – this week, in fact – a travesty is unfolding in New South Wales.
Under the cover of ‘decriminalisation’, the NSW Parliament is debating a bill that would see:
- Abortion up to 22 weeks for any or no reason;
- Abortion up to birth on the approval of two medical practitioners; and
- Conscientious objection trashed with pro-life doctors forced to refer women seeking an abortion.
We can’t simply stand by and let this happen. If we truly believe in the worth of every human life, we must act – and we must act now.
The bill is scheduled for debate on Tuesday, 6 August 2019. Leaving action till later could be too late.
Please take a moment today to phone your local state MP and urge them to vote against the abortion bill.
One MP. Two minutes. That’s all it takes.
At this point it’s simply about showing MPs how many people care about this issue.
Please be polite and civil, but let your MP know in no uncertain terms that your vote at the next election will be decided by this issue.
As well as phoning your local MP, please encourage as many of your family and friends as possible to take action as well!
